What costs credits and how to check before you spend

API calls use the same credit balance as the Studio web app, including free-trial credits.

  • GET /credits returns the current balance.
  • GET /posts/{id}/publish returns the maximum cost before you publish.
  • Out of credits, calls fail with 402 insufficient_credits and a purchaseUrl. GET /credits/purchase-link returns the same link.
